Reserve Your Honda CR-V

The Sporty Crossover SUV is Available in Farmington Hills, MI

The Honda CR-V continues to deliver the size, reliability and features that buyers have come to expect, making it the obvious choice for drivers looking for a safe, affordable and dependable SUV that seats five and still offers the chance to enjoy adventurous driving dynamics. While the CR-V comes with standard front-wheel drive, we do suggest opting for the available all-wheel drive and the added sense of security it offers when driving on our Michigan roadways in all seasons.

2018 Honda CR-V Exterior

The Honda CR-V now exhibits a beefed up stance that's longer and wider, a look that's enhanced by the available wheel designs. Front-wheel drive models enjoy 7.8 inches of ground clearance, while all-wheel drive models offer 8.2 inches. The Active Shutter Grille enhances the SUV's aerodynamics, while the silhouette evokes a sense of motion even when the vehicle is sitting still. Led taillights highlight a less-bulky rear that adds to the impression that the crossover SUV is just more substantial.

2018 Honda CR-V Interior

The Honda CR-V delivers one of the more spacious interior spaces in its class, and is extremely easy to configure to meet your needs. The 60/40-split rear seats fold at the pull of a lever, while the rear cargo space offers a two-tier setup: the floor can be either flat at normal level, or set to a lower position that helps keep your gear secure. Speaking of that cargo area, you'll be pleased to know that the Honda CR-V continues to offer class-leading cargo capacity. With the rear seats up, you'll have 39.2 cubic feet of space at your disposal; lower them, and that expands to a considerate 75.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

2018 Honda CR-V Performance

Drivers have a choice of two engine options for the 2018 Honda CR-V, but they are each available for specific trim levels. The base LX trim comes equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, while all other models come with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Both engines manufacture nearly equal horsepower and pound-feet of torque, and both are teamed to a CVT automatic transmission that features a Sport mode to increase responsiveness.

2018 Honda CR-V Trim Levels

The Honda CR-V is offered in four trim levels for the 2018 model year: LX, EX, EXL-L and Touring. Each one builds on the prior, adding more features and upgrades as you go:

  • Honda CR-V LX includes cloth seats, a 5-inch audio display screen, Bluetooth® streaming, a USB port, four-speaker stereo and a rearview camera as standard features.
  • Honda CR-V EX adds a wealth of standard features to those offered on the LX trim, including a proximity key entry, remote start, a moonroof, 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat, satellite radio, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system to replace the 5-inch audio offered on the LX, four USB ports and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity. This trim level also receives such safety features as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, road departure warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.
  • Honda CR-V EX-L tacks on leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a power liftgate and a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, as well as an eight-speaker stereo.
  • Honda CR-V Touring is the top-of-the-line option, and takes all that the EX-L trim offers and adds navigation and LED headlights, while upgrading to a nine-speaker premium audio system.

Check Out How the CR-V Stands Up Against it's Competitors:

Honda CR-V vs. the Competition

When it comes to choosing a new SUV, don’t go with a pretender. After all, Honda CR-V has been a favorite of drivers for years. With exceptionally versatile cargo space, roomy space for passengers, and all-wheel-drive zip that can get you through myriad weather and road conditions, there’s really no comparison —particularly when you stack it up class-similar vehicles like Toyota RAV4.

Honda CR-V vs. Toyota RAV4

  • Honda is with you from the day you drive your vehicle home. It’s proven the three-years of roadside assistance we offer with the purchase of every new Honda such as Honda CR-V, with affordable options for renewal. Toyota RAV4’s roadside assistance package only lasts two years —now what kind of friend is that?
  • Honda CR-V’s all-wheel drive powertrain puts you at the helm of 184-horses of power, ideal for zipping around town or commuting to work in an efficient, race-borne engine that’s significantly more powerful than it’s Toyota RAV4 class brethren.
  • With nearly 40-cubic-feet of cargo space, Honda CR-V is ideal for transporting sports gear, crafts, instruments or groceries with ease, particularly when compared to Toyota RAV4, whose cargo room is nearly two-cubic-feet smaller.

Honda CR-V vs. Nissan Rouge

  • Honda CR-V’s standard all-wheel drive powertrain gives you the ability to power through road and weather conditions with a newfound confidence you’ve never had before. In Nissan Rouge, proceed with caution —it comes standard with a front-wheel drive powertrain, with all-wheel drive as a costly upgrade.
  • With nearly 40-cubic-feet of cargo space, you can bring the entire band along to the big gig. Nissan Rouge, meanwhile, is better for solo artists: it’s cargo space is nearly 10-cubic-feet less than what you get in Honda CR-V.
  • Honda engineers know that when you accelerate, you want to feel it. You will when you head down the highway in the 184-horsepower Honda CR-V. Just be prepared to put a few Nissan Rouge’s in the dust, as it offers a paltry 170-horsepower output.
